The first time Uriah visited Faith Baptist Church, he met the pastor's daughter--Sarah--and they started talking about their guns.Sarah showed him the tiny North American Arms .22 revolver that fit in her pocket.Uriah pulled out his .22 revolver--the exact same gun, just bigger.Conversations about God and guns is a good way to start a friendship. As that friendship continued, each saw character qualities to respect in the other.At one church event, Sarah watched Uriah leap into the air to catch a baseball, only to fall into a muddy creek. Instead of getting visibly upset, Uriah brought the ball back and kept playing. He did not comment on the fact his clothes were now wet and muddy. That earned him Sarah's admiration.Seven months after first meeting, Sarah and Uriah went on their first date in October. Now, almost three years later, they will marry in October.God has been good to bring them together and allow them to build a strong foundation for a good marriage. Sarah is passionate about justice and is an attorney. Uriah promotes righteousness as he works with state lawmakers. It will be exciting to see what God will do with them for His purposes and His glory.

Since we are still evaluating housing options, we are unsure of the exact items we will need post-wedding. In lieu of a detailed gift registry, we have set up three funds--a wedding fund, a honeymoon fund, and a household items fund. Any help is appreciated.
